1) XX called in the morning and wants you to call him back by five thirty.
2) XX called and said she wants you to go to the university at ten tonight to pick her up.
3) Your brother called to say that there was nothing left to eat at home so he wants you to buy some food/vegetables (both are possible) from the store before coming home.
4) Your teacher called to inform you to meet him/her tomorrow before class (actually i think theres something wrong with this sentence, most likely a typo, but i'm guessing this is what it was supposed to mean)
5) Mr XX called to say that he bought a chinese book he thought might be of use to you and that he would be giving it to you tonight.
