I don't so much get annoyed by people offering a Google translation as by people who, sometimes in an arrogant way, recommend you to go there to get your translation, as if you're stupid if you don't!|||I am bilingual, fluent.
I do have some advice:
Do not translate slang, it will not work
Do not translate idioms, it will not work
Translate basic English words or sentences
Spell the English words PROPERLY, otherwise, it will NOT find the translation
It IS a free service, you ask for help, you need to be specific, and do your work|||I agree with granny, nice answer.
Google translate can be useful if you speak a bit of that language.but on here on YA it is plain dumb when some people just post a google translation answer. the asker could've done that himself if they wanted it.|||Learn the language and you don't have to use it.
